Bio
After many years as a keyboard player in jazz and rock bands, Rocco Romanucci became obsessed with answering the musical question: what would Led Zepplin sound like played on a 1920's New Orleans speakeasy piano? Before moving to Stowe, Vermont, Rocco spent a decade developing his unique approach to solo piano in San Francisco venues. His "saloon" style creates a good time sing along atmosphere at once modern and nostalgic, with a playlist that includes the likes of the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, the Grateful Dead, Elton John, Bowie, as well as popular songwriters of today. Rocco's mission is to play songs profoundly familiar to today's audiences in a style that evokes the carefree atmosphere of an early 20th Century piano parlor.
